出發的動詞不會用 departure，而是用 depart、leave、start、go 這幾個很常見的說法，其中 depart 與 leave 都是離開、start 是開始而 go 就是很直白的出發，根據不同的使用情境可以用不同的單字來表達出發的意思，例如在預計幾點要離開飯店出發去別地方，這裡的出發可以用 leave 來表達，意指離開飯店的意思，等同於出發去別地方，這種說法比較傳神一點，如果不習慣，可以改用簡單的 go 就好，例如我們將在上午七點出發去別的地方英文可以說 We will go to another place at 7:00 AM.。
